p-TSC is hydrolytically instable with a maximum half-life of 2.6 min. at pH 9 and 25 °C.

One study, valid without restrictions, is available. The study was performed according to OECD guideline 111.

The test substance showed very fast hydrolysis at 25 °C at all three pHs tested. The test substance is hydrolytically instable.
