First-aid measures

Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of water.

Skin contact: Wash off with soap and plenty of water.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2)

Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Water

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.

Special exposure hazards in a fire: Hazardous decomposition products.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:  Avoid breathing dust.

Fine dust dispersed in air may ignite. Avoid dust formation. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Environmental precautions: Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.

Methods for cleaning up: Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid dust formation. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid exceeding of the given occupational exposure limits. Take precautionary

measures against static discharges.

Storage: Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

Personal protective equipment: The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with the manufacturer/supplier.
