Additional information

An acute toxicity study was conducted with Daphnia magna (BASF SE, 2004) according to OECD Guideline 202 using a static design. The test was performed with an aqueous extract (eluate) using a closed system (glass tubes sealed with gas impermeable Teflon caps). Nominal exposure concentrations were: 0, 12.5, 25, 50 and 100 mg/L. The analytical recovery after 0 hours was 74.2 - 75 % in all analysed test solutions and after 48 hours 67.6 - 71.1 %. The 48-hour EC50 value for immobilization was established as 33.9 mg/L based on mean measured concentrations.
