Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Two ready biodegradation tests exists under under OECD 301F and 301D and concludes to “not readily biodegradable”.

According to the key study, the Manometric Respirometry Test under OECD 301F, the pass level of > 60% of biodegradation is reached within 28 days, the substance can be considered as not persitent. In the condition of the test, the ready biodegradation levels observed were 60.3% at day 28 and 64.9% at day 43.

It can be concluded that the substance is ultimately degradable after an adequate extended duration (complete mineralisation to CO2). For the risk assessment, the substance is considered as readily biodegradable but failing 10-day window.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable but failing 10-day window
Type of water:
freshwater
