readily biodegradable

Additional information

One ready biodegradation study is available for isopropyl oleate (CAS No. 112-11-8).

This key ready biodegradability study was carried out with isopropyl oleate (CAS No. 112-11-8), following OECD Guideline 301 B and according to GLP (Desmares-Koopmans, 1997). Non-adapted domestic activated sludge was used as inoculum. During the 28-day test period, biodegradation reached 100%, based on CO2 evolution, and the 10-day window criterion was met.

In conclusion, isopropyl oleate (CAS No. 112-11-8) can be considered readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
