Description of key information

No key information is available on the boiling point of calcium zirconium oxide. Data from the SDS of a manufacturer showed the substance to have a boiling point of ca. 3800°C. This data can be considered as supportive evidence. No tests need to be performed as the substance is a solid which melts above 300°C (Column 2, REACH Annex VII).

Additional information

Testing on calcium zirconium oxide is considered not to be required as the substance is a solid which melts above 300°. However supporting data is available from the SDS of a manufacturer (UCM Zirconia, 2014) reporting the substance to have a boiling point of ca. 3800°C.
