Description of key information

Since the substance forms micelles in water, the water solubility is expressed as the critical micelle concentration (CMC), in this case 64 mg/L (pH 7, 23°C).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
64 mg/L
at the temperature of:
23 °C

Additional information

According to "Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance", the critical micelle concentration (CMC) can be considered as the solubility limit. Given that the watersolubility of the acetate salt is higher than the watersolubility of the pure amine the read across is considered as “the worst case scenario”.

Since the substance forms micelles in water, the water solubility is expressed as the critical micelle concentration (CMC).
