Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Available data at supplier from many repeated dose studies ranging from 28-day and OECD 422 screening studies, 90-day studies and incidental chronic and carcinogenicity studies, indicates that the toxicological profile of all the polyamines tested so far (including diamines, some salts and ethoxylated substances) all show the same profile.

As the non-acetate polyamine, Oleyl tripropylene tetraamine (C18tripropylene tetramine), is classified for STOT-RE Cat. 2 (with indicated organ gastrointestinal system), it is prudent to classify(Z)-N-(3-aminopropyl)-N'-[3-(9-octadecenylamino)propyl]propane-1,3-diamineacetate similarly.
