- Adult male and female Sprague-Dawley rats were used in this experiment. Rats were dosed with undiluted vinyl 2-ethylhexanoate at (2.0, 4.0, 5.7, 8.0, 11.3, 16.0 ml/kg) by intraesophageal intubation. Food and water were freely available throughout a 14 day observation period.
