Description of key information
The substance is a UVCB. The Log Pow was determined in the range 1.34 to > 6.5 (EU A.8, OECD 117). Calculated values for main components varying from 4.43 to more than 13.87 are supporting. However, since the substance is rapidly biodegradable, it is potentially expected not to bioaccumulate in the environment.

The substance is a UVCB. The Log Pow was determined in the range 1.34 to > 6.5. Calculated values for a number of representative components of the UVCB are supporting the fact that the log Pow is generally > 4.0 (from 4.43 to more than 13.87).
However, the test item attained 71% degradation after 28 days. Under the strict terms and conditions of OECD Guideline No 301B the test item cannot be considered to be readily biodegradable as the test item failed to satisfy the 10-Day window validation criterion, whereby 60% degradation must be attained within 10 days of the degradation exceeding 10%. However, the test item has exhibited the potential for rapid degradation.
Since the substance is rapidly biodegradable it is potentially expected not to bioaccumulate in the environment.
