Additional information

In the acute immobilisation test with Daphnia magna STRAUS the effect of the limit concentration (1000 mg/L) of the test item (active content: 57%) was determined. The EC50 of sodium 2-hydroxyethanesulphonate after 48 hours exceeds 570 mg/L under the conditions of a test conducted according OECD guideline no. 202.

Further supportive information is available from old IUCLID data, but without proof.

The result from the OECD guideline study was chosen as key parameter.
