Description of key information

The D50 value of the test material "Ta2O5 ceramic_Orthorombic" was determined to be 0.60 µm.

The D50 value of the test material "Ta2O5 HPO-A hcG_Triclinical-Orthorombic" was determined to be 28.19 µm.

This is based on key studies which are internal company reports.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of the test material has been addressed by providing key studies in the form of a company report (2017) that was assigned a reliability score of 2, using the principles set out in Klimisch (1997). The particle size distribution of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline ISO 13320:2009 using Laser diffraction with water as the dispersion liquid.

Under the conditions of the test, the D50 value of the test material "Ta2O5 ceramic_Orthorombic" was determined to be 0.60 µm.

Under the conditions of the test, the D50 value of the test material "Ta2O5 HPO-A hcG_Triclinical-Orthorombic" was determined to be 28.19 µm.
