Description of key information

An adaptation has been submitted to address this data requirement, as no exposure to this compartment is anticipated. The substance is considered inert and highly insoluble which also restricts bioavailability. In addition, no adverse effects have been reported in any of the human health related endpoints or ecotoxicological endpoints, and therefore conducting acute and/or long-term toxicity testing in earthworms is not considered justified. This is also in line with animal welfare considerations.
The available data are adequate for classification and labeling purposes and PBT assessment, so no further testing is required.
