Description of key information

An adaptation has been submitted to address this data requirement, as exposure to this compartment is unlikely. More importantly, ditantalum pentaoxide is practically insoluble in water and as it is an inorganic substance it cannot be dissolved in organic solvents. As a result, testing of the effect of ditantalum pentaoxide to terrestrial plants (especially via soil pore-water exposure) is technically not feasible. Therefore, further testing is considered inappropriate.
