Description of key information

It can be determined that the substance would always be ionised at environmentally relevant pH’s.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No determination was possible according to Method 112 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 12 May 1981, due to the test item possessing dissociation constants outside the scope of the methods. Estimates of dissociation constants were obtained using computer based estimation software, ACD/I-Lab v2.0. The following dissociation constants were obtained.

Functional Group

Dissociation Constant

Primary amine N-H

13.6 ± 0.6

Sulphonic acid –SO3H

1.0 ± 0.2
