Description of key information

In tests with fish (Danio rerio) on the acute toxicity of Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT) no effects were observed up to the highest concentration tested (96h-LC50 > 100 mg/l (nominal) (Weyers, 2007a).

In a prolonged acute test, no indication of toxic effects for adult fish, Danio rerio after 14 days exposure to a concentration range of MWCNT up to 100 mg/l could be observed (Witters, 2010a).

Test material is meeting the form as described in section 4.5 of the IUCLID dossier.
