Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on the water solubility values reported on both constituents (MAP: 26.4 wt% at 20 °C, thus of very high solubility, DAP: 588 g/L at 20 °C), the solid reaction mass of ammonium dihydrogenorthophosphate and diammonium hydrogenorthophosphate should be very soluble into water. Such reasoning could also be applied to the liquid reaction mass with further support provided by the qualitative information in the lead-registrant SDS.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Liquid form:

Qualitative information regarding the water solubility of the liquid reaction mass are provided in the lead-registrant SDS; revealing it is very soluble into water. In the absence of further details on the experimental method used, a reliability score of 4 was attributed to this data.

Solid form:

These information are further supported by the reliability 2 data available on both constituents; revealing both are very soluble into water. From this, it can be concluded that the solid reaction mass should be considered as very soluble too.

All these data were considered in a weight-of-evidence approach.
