Description of key information

In a study according to OECD test guideline 207 under GLP, the acute toxicity LC50 of one (CAS 14433-76-2) of the two constituents of the registered substance to Eisenia fetida was determined to be 1032.1 mg/kg soil.

Additional information

One reliable study of the acute toxicity to soil macroorganisms of one (CAS 14433-76-2) of the two constituents of the registered substance is available. In this study the acute toxicity LC50 of to the earthworm Eisenia fetida was determined to be 1032.1 mg/kg soil.

This result is considered for the registered substance.

Due to the short half-life (<6.5h) in soil, long-term exposure to soil macroorganisms will not occur. Consequently, the respective long-term toxicity study is not justified.
