The estimated flash-point of the test substance was 108°C.


 


Main study:


The results of the main study on the determination of the flash-point of the test substance are given in Table 1 below.


 


The difference between the results obtained with the two tests was ≤ 6°C. From this, it was concluded that the flash-point of the test substance is the lowest flash-point obtained.

Conclusions:
A measured flash point of 105°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance in accordance with EU Method A.9 and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered reliable.

Additional information

A measured flash point of 105°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the substance using a closed-cup method in accordance with the ISO 2719 Test Method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.


 


In another secondary source to which reliability could not be assigned, a limit flash point of > 93°C was reported for the substance.


 


A flash point of 105°C at 1021 hPa and measured boiling point of 276°C at 1013 hPa indicate the substance should not be classified as a flammable liquid according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
