Additional information
No data on the hydrolysis behavior of the test substance are available. However, the hydrolysis potential of the test substance is considered to be similar to Propylidenetrimethanol, ethoxylated (CAS# 50586-59-9). This is due to the connatural characteristic bonds of both molecules, although the core molecule is different (Glycerol instead of Propylidenetrimethanol).
Propylidenetrimethanol, ethoxylated (CAS# 50586-59-9) was found to be hydrolytically stable at 50°C and pH values ranging from 4 to 9 (Bayer 2008/0143/08, 2009).
Therefore, hydrolysis of the substance is not expected.
