From these test runs, a corrected auto-ignition temperature of 422°C was recorded (correction performed according to EN 14522).

Conclusions:
A corrected auto-ignition temperature of 422°C was measured (correction performed according to EN 14522).
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was determined according to Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Annex A.15. The auto-ignition was measured using the apparatus described in EN 14522 and required determination of the temperature of the inner surface of an enclosure that results in ignition of the test substance injected into the enclosure. The test was performed at an atmospheric pressure of 994 mbar. A corrected auto-ignition temperature of 422°C was determined.

Description of key information

A corrected auto-ignition temperature of 422°C was determined.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
422 °C

Additional information

A study was conducted to assess the auto-ignition temperature of the test substance. The study was considered reliable as it was conducted on the registered substance according to EU Test Method A. 15. The auto-ignition temperature was found to be 422°C.
