A test on ready biodegradability was conducted according to OECD-Guideline 301C (Modified MITI Test (I)).

The result averages 0 % degradation after 4 weeks.

A Bioconcentration test of 2-tert-Butyl-p-cresol was conducted to a guideline corresponding to OECD Guideline 305C (Bioaccumulation: Test for the degree of bioconcentration in fish), 1981

The test organisms was carp (Cyprinus carpio).

At a concentration of 10 µg/L the BCF value is 99 at 28 days and

at a concentration of 1 µg/L the BCF value is 62 at 28 days.
