Executive summary:

A water solubility test for the test substance tert-butyl peroxyneodecanoat (at least 90 % pure) was performed according to OECD No. 105 guideline. The test was conducted using the column-elution method suitable for water solubility values lower than 10 mg/L. The column was filled with water, sand and test substance following the OECD guideline. Five aliquots were drawn from the column after certain time frames and after pre-treatment analyzed by HPLC. Stability of the test substance during the test has also been controlled using IR spectroscopy. Results obtained showed a water solubility of 9 mg/L (at 0°C) for the tert-butyl peroxyneodecanoat.
