Description of key information

One skin irritation study (K1) and one eye irritation study (K1) are available. Both studies are carried out under GLP conditions and according to internationally accepted study protocols.
Under the conditions of the skin irritation test, exposure to the test substance produced no signs of dermal irritation throughout the study.
Under the conditions of the eye irritation test, the calculated mean ocular irritation scores (for 24, 48 and 72 hours) and irritation classifications for corneal opacity, iris lesion, conjunctival redness and conjunctival edema were 0.00 (non-irritant), 0.00 (non-irritant), 0.33 (non-irritant) and 0.00 (non-irritant), respectively.
The test substance therefore is considered not irritating to skin or eyes.
