Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The ErC50 is above the maximum solubility of 14 mg/l. The EbC50 is 13.7 mg/l. The corresponding EC10 values are 8.52 mg/l (ErC10) and 0.49 mg/l (EbC10). The estimated 96-hr EC50 value for algae is 31,3 mg/l (ECOSAR v1.10), which is above the maximum solubility of 14 mg/l. The estimated chronic value is 8.6 mg/l, the corresponding NOEC is 6.0 mg/l which is close to the measured ErC10 of 8.52 mg/l.

Additional information

The ErC50 from an OECD 201 test is above the maximum solubility of 14 mg/l. The EbC50 is 13.7 mg/l. The corresponding EC10 values are 8.52 (ErC10) and 0.49 mg/l (EbC10)..

The aquatic toxicity was also estimated using the ECOSAR model v1.10 included in the EpiSuite models of US-EPA. The estimated 96-hr E50 value for algae is 31,3 mg/l. Since this value is higher than the maximum measured water solubility of 14.7 mg/l, the substance may not be bioavailable enough to exert acute toxicity.

The estimated chronic value is 8.6 mg/l, the corresponding NOEC is 6.0 mg/l which is close to the measured ErC10 of 8.52 mg/l.
