Description of key information

ca. 16%  <100µm

ca. 2.3%  <10µm

ca.0.1 %  <4µm

Additional information

The determination of the particle size distribution was carried out by laser diffraction according to ISO 13320-1, with evaluation according to
Fraunhofer.

The inhalable fraction (particles < 100µm) is defined as the mass fraction of particles which can be inhaled by nose or mouth, the thoracic fraction (50% of particles <10µm) is defined as the mass fraction of particles that passes the larynx and the respirable fraction (50% of particles < 4µm) is defined as the mass fraction of particles that reaches the alveoli.
