Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No simulation tests on the biodegradation of the test substance in soil are available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No data on the biodegradation of the test item in soil are available. However, further biotic degradation testing shall be proposed if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further degradation of the substance and its degradation products. Two guideline studies according to OECD 302B were conducted with the structurally related substance "Analogue substance 1" in order to investigate the biodegradation potential of the test substance. This structural analogue was found to be poorly biodegradable in both studies after a test duration of 28 days (Clariant 984/a-01, 2002 and Clariant 79/a-O7, 2007). It is assumed that the results of simulation studies would not reveal any different findings. Therefore, simulation studies in surface water and sediments are not provided.
