Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Terrestrial toxicity studies of the test substance are not deemed necessary.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No data are available for the toxicity assessment of the test substance to terrestrial organisms. The substance has a low potential for adsorption to soil particles (log Koc of 2.31) and it has no bioaccumulative properties (log Kow < 0.3). Additionally, the results of aquatic tests on all three trophic levels indicate a low hazardous potential of the test substance towards soil organisms. Based on these data, binding to sewage sludge is unlikely and as a consequence a transfer to the soil compartment is not expected. Therefore, the risk to soil organisms is considered negligible and no tests on terrestrial organisms are provided.
