Hydrolysis is not expected to be an important fate process for 2 -propylheptan-1 -ol, since this substance is readily biodegradable and oxo alcohols C9 to C13 are generally resistant to hydrolysis because they lack a functional group that is hydrolytically reactive (OECD SIDS 2006).
