Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In accordance with REACH Regulation Annex VII, column 2, the testing hydrolysis as a function of pH is not required if the substance is highly insoluble in water. The water solubility of the registered substance was determined to be 411 mg DOC/L at 20 °C. Further, the substance contains amide groups, stable in environmental pH ranges of 4 to 9. In conclusion, the substance is stable at pH 4 to 9 and hydrolysis is highly unlikely. No experimental determination assessing the environmental stability was carried out.

Furthermore, the test substance is produced in situ into oils and forms a highly insoluble grease at the end of the process. Therefore, a hydrolysis test was is not considered as the aquatic environment will never be exposed to the test substance.
