Description of key information

The kinematic viscosity was determined to be 0.51 and 0.42 mm²/s at 20 and 40 °C, respectively.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
0.51 mm²/s (static)
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Key study

BASF (1986)

Experimental studies were conducted to determine the viscosity of the test item. The dynamic as well as the kinematic viscosity were determined. The dynamic viscosity was calculated from the static viscosity to be 0.421 and 0.339 mPa*s at 20 and 40 °C, respectively. The kinematic viscosity was determined to be 0.51 and 0.42 mm²/s at 20 and 40 °C, respectively.

Supporting information

Knovel DIPPR (2005)

The dynamic viscosity of the test item was reported in a peer reviewed data base to be 0.41 mPa*s at 20 °C.
