Dry powder
Unsuitable extinguishing media: none

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Specific hazards during fire fighting : Exposure to decomposition products may be a hazard to health.

Precautions for fire-fighters
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters : Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.
Further information : Standard procedure for chemical fires.

In case of fire hazardous decomposition products may be produced such as: carbon oxides, sulphur oxides

Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions : Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection.
In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Working clothes and safety shoes

Environmental precautions : Prevent product from entering drains.
Do not flush into surface water.

Methods for cleaning up : Contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and place in container for disposal according to local / national regulations

Recommended Filter type: A/P (EN 141)
The filter class for the respirator must be suitable for the maximum expected contaminant concentration that may arise
when handling the product.
Hand protection : Protective gloves complying with EN 374.
Recommendation: Nitrile rubber
Break thoug time >480 min
Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special
workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).
Eye protection : Face-shield
Tightly fitting safety goggles
Skin and body protection : Rubber apron
Hygiene measures : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Protective measures : For all personal protective equipment: follow the instructions for use issued by the producer.

Environmental exposure controls
General advice : Prevent product from entering drains.
do not flush into surface water.

Stability and reactivity

Stable under recommended storage conditions.

The product is chemically stable.

Hazardous reactions : Exothermic reactions with:Bases

Conditions to avoid : Temperature
To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat.

Materials to avoid : Bases

Hazardous decomposition products: No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
Thermal decomposition can lead to release of: carbon oxides, sulphur oxides

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods:

Product :Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration.

Contaminated packaging : Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
