Description of key information

The chromatogram of propylidynetrimethyl trimethacrylate resulted in a major peak (> 90% of the area) with log Koc value of 3.245 and a minor peak with log Koc value of 2.071 at 25°C ± 1.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP study was conducted to determine the adsorption/desorption coefficient of propylidynetrimethyl trimethacrylate according to OECD Guideline 121, HPLC method. The chromatogram of propylidynetrimethyl trimethacrylate resulted in two peaks with log Koc values of 2.071 ± 0.002 (peak 1: 2.547 mAU*min) and 3.245 ± 0.004 (peak 2: 56.808 mAU*min) at 25 ± 1 ºC. As this last peak covered more than 90% of the area under the curve, its log Koc value (3.245) was used for chemical safety assessment (CSA).
