Details on test organisms:
The Daphnia was sourced from Bundesgesundheitsamt Berlin, Klonzucht AWALU/Labor für Wassserbiologie
Breeding conditions: breeding was done in water bath under constant temperature (20 °C).
breeding water was conditioned tap water of Leverkusen
Feeding: with singular cell Scenedesmus subspicatus (out of fermenter breeding) ad libitum
before feeding ultrasound of 5 minutes, adapting of the algae suspension to extiguishing value of 0.54 at 578 nm in 1:10 solution
feeding of one adult per day: 0-1 day 0,10 ml feeding algae
2-3 day 0.12 ml feeding algae
4-5 day 0.16 ml feeding algae
6-7 day 0.20 ml feeding algae
8-20 day 0.40 ml feeding algae
