Additional information

Short-term toxicity tests are available for fish and aquatic invertebrates. The 96-h LC50 is 920 mg/L in zebra fish, the 24 -hour EC50 in Daphnia magna is >959.5 mg/L. In an activated sludge respiration inhibition test a 3-hour IC50 value of >100 mg/L was observed. No studies on the toxicity to aquatic algae of FAT40181 available. However, one test is available for the structural analogue FAT 40849/A TE (for detail see read-across justification document). For this substance the 72 -h ErC50 of the test substance was determined to be >100 mg/L and the NOErC was determined to be 25 mg/L.
