Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to aquatic invertebrates was determined in a GLP-compliant test according to OECD 202 (CG, 1985).

In this study, Dapnia magna were exposed to nominal concentrations of 0, 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 750 and 1000 mg/L of the test substance for 24 hours (static). Up to a test substance concentration of 100 mg/L no significant number of immobilized or dead test animals was observed. At the highest concentration tested immobilization reached 75%. Based on these results, the 24-h EC50 was determined at 959.5 mg/L.
