- Conclusions:
- The viscosity of the test substance diethyl carbonate was determined according to OECD Test Guideline 114 (Viscosity of Liquids). At all measurements, the falling time was smaller than 60 sec (minimum falling time). However, the measurements can be considered valid because the measured viscosity was within the measuring range of the used ball (borosilicate glass). The viscosity of the test item diethyl carbonate was calculated as 0.837+/-0.007 mPa*s at 20.0 °C, which was the mean of four experiments and 12 single values. As the measured relative standard deviation was 0.82 %, the validity criterion for the used ball was met (maximum relative SD 2.0 %).
