Description of key information

The surface tension of neat dipropylene glycol n-butyl ether was determined according the Du Nouy ring method using a digital tensiometer to be 29.2 mN/m at 20 °C and 28.8 mN/m at 25 °C.

The test substance was tested undiluted. However, based on the chemical structure of dipropylene glycol n-butyl ether no surface activity is predicted for aqueous solutions.
