Description of key information

As TBEP is readily biodegradable, the information on hydrolysis property is not required according to REACh Annex VII, column 2 exemption.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

As TBEP is readily biodegradable, the information on hydrolysis property is not required according to REACh Annex VII, column 2 exemption. In addition information from the literature indicate that trialkyl phosphates undergo very slow alkaline hydrolysis at most environmental pH.
