Conclusions:
The relative density (D4/20) of dipotassium persulfate was determined to 1.39 +/- 0.28 g/cm3 at 20 °C (95 % confidence interval).
Executive summary:

Following EU method A.3, the relative density ( D4/20) of dipotassium persulfate was determined to 1.39 +/- 0.28 g/cm3 at 20 °C (95 % confidence interval). Three separate tests were carried out:

Description of key information

Following EU method A.3, the relative density (D4/20) of dipotassium persulfate was determined to 1.39 ± 0.28 g/cm³ at 20 °C (95 % confidence interval).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The relative density (D4/20) for the substances of the Persulfate Category was determined according to EU method A.3 applying the pycnometer method. The determined values for diammonium-, -potassium- and -sodium persulfate were 1.26 g/cm³, 1.39 g/cm³ and 1.68 g/cm³ at 20 °C.
