Additional information

Di-(2-ethylhexyl) peroxydicarbonate was determined to be readily biodegradable (but failing the 10-day window) in a 28-day CO2 evolution test according to EU method C.4-C and OECD guideline 301B.

In view of the established ready biodegradability, the rapid hydrolysis in contact with water, and insignificant bioaccumulation potential, specific degradation tests in surface water, sediment or soil are not necessary.
