Description of key information

In the key study no dead one was observed in 0 and 500 mg/L dose levels. Following abnormal behaviors were observed at 96hr in 500 mg/L dose
level.
Therefore, LC50 (96 hrs) for Brachydanio rerio is > 500 mg/L in this static test.
In the supporting study no abnormal behavior, abnormal respiration nor dead one were observed in any of those dose levels.
Therefore, 96hr LC50 (and LC0) for Oryzias latipes is > 100 mg/L in the semistatic test.

Additional information

Both studies were conducted and reported according to the OECD Guideline for the testing of chemicals 203 and principles of GLP in year 1989 respectively 1999.

The test item in the Hoechst study has a LC50 > 500 mg/L under the test condions (zebra fish, 96 hours) following OECD Guideline 203.

The second study was published in the SIDS Dossier in year 2003 by the lead organization Mitsuboshi Chemical Co., Ltd. (AAOT Consortium), Japan.

The LC50 for Oryzias latipes is > 100 mg/L after 96 hr exposure to the test item.
