Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

An LLNA study was conducted according to OECD 429. Female mice CBA/Ca (CBA/CaBk1) (five/group) received 0.5%, 5%, or 50% (v/v) test substance diluted using 4:1 acetone:olive oil (AOO).

A stimulation index (ratio of 3H thymidine incorporation into lymph node  cells of test nodes relative to that recorded for the control nodes) of  less than 3 was recorded for the three concentrations of the test  material. The test substance was considered not to be a sensitizer under the conditions of the test.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
not sensitising in a LLNA-test (0.5, 5, 50%).

Justification for classification or non-classification

The LLNA result indicates that the substance does not meet the criterion for classification as a skin sensitiser.
