There is no carcinogenicity study available. However, TAED is not genotoxic in vitro and in vivo and there is no indication from the

repeated dose studies that TAED is able to induce hyperplasia and/or pre-neoplastic lesions. Also, the TAED constituents ethylenediamine and acetic acid display no concern regarding carcinogenicity.

Thus, it can be reliable concluded that TAED is of no concern regarding carcinogenicity.
