This study is considered scientifically unjustified in that the substance is a solid at ambient temperature and pressure. As stated in the ECHA guidance document, Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment, Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, May 2008. Section R.7.1.18.4, page 185, states that this endpoint is only relevant to liquids and thus for many substances this determination is not required.
