Any other information on results incl. tables

OECD SIDS:
A degradation rate constant (k) of 2.75E-03 (1/min) was
determined for o-toluidine.
Results indicate that the photocatalytic degradation of
o-toluidine in aqueous TiO2 suspensions can be described by
a first order kinetic equation model.
Based on this equation a t1/2 of 252 min could be calculated.

Executive summary:

The kinetics of the photocatalytic degradation reactions of nine different monosubstituted anilines including o-toluidine was studied in liquid phase. The experiments were carried out in a batch-type photoreactor provided with black light fluorescent lamps (UV, mostly near 360 nm). The incident light intensity was measured by means of a potassium ferrioxalate actinometer. Results indicate that the photocatalytic degradation of o-toluidine in aqueous TiO2 suspension can be described by the first order kinetic model lnC = -kt+lnCo, where Co is the initial concentration and C the concentration at time t. A degradation rate constant of 2.75×10-3 min-1 for o-toluidine was determined. Therefore a half-life value of o-toluidine of 4.2 h can be calculated.
