Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Adsorption / desorption

The Koc and log Koc of linalyl actetate at 25 °C were calculated to be 432.4 L/kg and 2.6359, respectively. Thus, adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected.

Henry's Law constant

The Henry's Law constant of linalyl actetate was calculated to be 176 Pa m³/mol at 25 °C.

Additional information

The log Koc calculated for the substance indicates that an adsorption to soil and suspended matter is unlikely. Furthermore the substance readily hydrolysis in contact with water. The product of hydrolysis has a log Koc of 1.75 and thus the adsorption potential of the substance is comparably low. A calculated Henry's law constant for Linalyl acetate indicates that the substance will slowly evaporate.
