In a GLP guideline study according to OECD 301 F L-valine showed to be readily biodegradable.
In accordance with Annex IX sections 9.2.1.2 column 2 and section 9.2.1.4 column 2 simulation tests on the biodegradation in surface water or sediment are not necessary, because L-valine is readily biodegradable.
In accordance with Annex IX section 9.2.1.3 column 2 simulation tests on the biodegradation in soil are not necessary, because L-valine is readily biodegradable.
