Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was determined to be 288 ± 50C at atmospheric pressures between 100.49 - 102.03 kPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
288 °C

Additional information

The auto-ignition temperature of the substance was determined using a method designed to be compatible with EU Method A.15.

Varying amounts of the substance were heated in a flask and observed for signs of ignition over a 300 second period until the lowest temperature at which ignition occured was determined.

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was determined to be 288 ± 50C at atmospheric pressures between 100.49 - 102.03 kPa.
