Any other information on results incl. tables

The test item did not ignite in the preliminary test, therefore, fully hydrogenated high erucic acid rapeseed oil is not considered as highly flammable.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Conclusions:
The test item is not considered to be highly flammable.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the flammability of fully hydrogenated high erucic acid rapeseed oil, in accordance with the EU Method A.10.

In a preliminary test the test item was spread on a non-combustible surface in the form of a rope 250 mm in length with a cross section of about 1 cm2. The rope was ignited with the flame of a gas burner. The flame was applied to the end of the rope for 2 min.

The test item did not ignite in the preliminary test. Therefore, fully hydrogenated high erucic acid rapeseed oil should not be considered as highly flammable and no further testing was required.
